Atop that Westmount hill lies some of Montreal’s most stunning homes. One of them, a humble home complete with climbing ivy and tin roof, was reminiscent of a fairy-tale. Reminding us particularly of Snow white, this home was designed with its gorgeous gardens in mind. By breaking up the cabinet colors and introducing a beautiful greenish grey, the outdoors seemed to flood in through both the large sink window and smaller irregular ones on the adjacent wall. By putting the hood between them, it became the centerpiece for that wall, and was meticulously built, piece by piece to fit that wall perfectly.
Through-out the project, every element was designed with Snow White in mind. A beautiful kitchen that pulls the outdoors in, meant to cook for a large family (seven dwarves, perhaps?). From spice racks on either side of the range, to having two sinks, everything was thought-through in order to make this kitchen offer the ultimate cooking experience.
